Continuing the Dream: Drug-Free World's Mission for a Better Future Inspired by MLK

The MLK Day Celebration Committee met to identify issues in Queens county and organize campaigns for change. The committee's goal was to empower the community and rally residents to come together as a united force. Their first annual march and rally, honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History Month, aimed to inform and inspire attendees.

The committee hoped to build momentum and encourage thousands of locals to participate in the biggest and most diverse rallies and marches in NYC each year. As their efforts gained traction, the committee grew in strength and impact. With a commitment to unity and progress, they continued to work towards a more beloved community.
