Reaching Millions in Times Square with the Truth About Drugs Campaign
The Foundation for a Drug-Free World's Truth About Drugs PSAs appeared in Times Square, reaching over 1.9 million people and generating more than 30 awards and recognitions. These PSAs directed people to the Foundation's website to learn about drug prevention, which helped the program earn more than 100 partnerships across community centers and schools. With the campaign's success, they generated the first drug usage drop among teens in over a decade. The drug prevention campaign shows how community awareness initiatives can be effective in creating safer, healthier environments.
