President, Bernard Fialkoff Addresses SOMOS Int. Medical Symposium
In October 2022, Dr. Bernard Fialkoff, President of the Drug-Free World, Americas Chapter, delivered a compelling presentation at the SOMOS International Medical Symposium in Madrid, Spain. Attended by over 800 medical professionals and local dignitaries, the symposium focused on the harmful effects of vaping, CBD, and marijuana, as well as the necessity for drug education programs.
Dr. Fialkoff emphasized the importance of the Drug-Free World education program as a vital tool in combating drug abuse. The program aligns with the United Nations' 2016 UNGASS Global Drug Conference, which also highlighted the need for educational solutions to drug-related issues.
During his presentation, Dr. Fialkoff provided Drug-Free World booklets containing essential information on the documented scientific harm caused by vaping, CBD, and marijuana.
